DAFA with MINDS!

Our DAFA team was welcomed by the group of lively participants from MINDS when we walked into the room.

We started off the workshop with a media literacy class and the caregivers were all listening attentively as they took away valuable information about protecting their data online. Many of them were even referring to their phones to check if the websites that they had visit were protected.

Followed after was the digital literacy class where the participants were taught to use Procreate. As many of them were unfamiliar with Procreate, they were constantly asking for us to help them. It was endearing to hear them call us “jiejie” and “korkor” (older sister and older brother, respectively, in Mandarin).

The session ended with a short sharing of what participants took away from this workshop and a group photo with everyone posing with their drawings proudly!
