Our team went to Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Kee Home to conduct a DAFA workshop for the seniors! We started off by sharing with them on how to be wary of online scams and on how to be safe when using social media e.g. how not to fall for chain messages and aggravating the situation by forwarding it to friends and family members.
We then moved on to teaching the residents how to draw on the iPad using the Procreate app. The room was soon filled with excited chatters and laughter as some residents snapped pictures of their friends and drew over their portraits. Others even exhibited their artistic skills with drawings of beautiful flowers and fish.
The seniors enjoyed their time drawing very much, and when the session ended, many asked when we would be back again. They had a great time with DAFA and our team had lots of fun too! We are thankful for the opportunity to conduct the workshop there as there were many great memories made and many new friendships forged!
