DAFA goes to Yuying Secondary School!

On 29th May 2019, our team went to Yuying Secondary School to conduct a DAFA workshop with them. We kicked off the workshop by introducing the students to media literacy, sharing with them about fake news and how they can play a part in preventing fake news from circulating. Ms Carol Soon, the vice-chairman of the Media Literacy Council, mentioned that Singaporeans are becoming more reliant on social media as the leading source of information, we should therefore start to acquire a healthy amount of scepticism and learn to differentiate between fake news and factual news.

A digital literacy class followed soon after where the students were taught how to draw on the iPad using the Procreate app. They had a lot of fun expressing themselves through drawing while learning the different functions of Procreate! There is never a dull day with DAFA! (:
