And this time, we had our session with a second group of 13 friendly participants!
Having facilitated several workshops with social service organisations, we noticed a slight pattern. After sharing about media and digital literacy, we asked the group to choose one of the three values (be safe, be smart, be kind) that they would most like to represent or advocate online. They will then write a short message or save their artwork under their chosen value.
Interestingly, most of the participants chose to use their artwork in encouraging others to be kind :)
Perhaps kindness is just what we need as the core to build an inclusive community online.
