DAFA had its second session at MWS in English on 6th June and it was a fruitful one! To our surprise, there were even a couple of familiar faces who joined us for the second time after an enriching first, the previous week.
The weather was bad but it did not drench the spirits of the seniors. The seniors were full of energy and all ready to take away valuable skills and knowledge back with them. The session began with a lively digital literacy class which was followed by an introduction to the Procreate App and when they got their hands on the iPads, they just couldn’t hide their excitement to start learning the different tools and functions!
In just a blink of an eye, they had beautiful art pieces drawn on their iPads and were asking if they could try out more. It was indeed a joy teaching them as they were so passionate to learn! However, oh well, all good things have to come to an end as we closed the session and look forward having the seniors at MWS again in the future!
